How is password strength measured?
Usually with entropy — bits of randomness from length × the character-set size. More length and more character types → higher entropy → longer to crack.
Is it safe to type my real password here?
This runs entirely in your browser and never sends anything. As a habit, avoid typing real passwords into sites you don't fully trust.
What's a good entropy?
Below 40 bits is weak, 60–80 is reasonable, 100+ is very strong. Increasing length is the easiest way to raise it.
